vff is convinced, and is attempting to convince everybody else, that there is a hidden message in all of your comments about Blair (much stronger but has to continue to get better mentally to be a factor, can he challenge for the two-deep, etc).
So, is there? Are there indications that Blair can't realistically compete for a starting spot at LT? If he is much stronger, then it's hard for me to believe he is being written off by the coaches before they ever see if that improved strength translates to the field. Of course, that is unless the real issue has always been that he simply isn't athletically gifted enough to play at this level....
Simply put, do you think the coaches still believe there is hope for Blair? Do you think they see him as a guy that, if he is confident and can function within the offense (which can only be found out on the field), has the strength and athletic ability to be a starting tackle in the SEC?
