If it's going to be an upset to land Gibbs, why didn't the staff take Pitts? Do they just not think he's good enough? It can't be a positional issue, because there is no planet on which Gibbs is a CB so it's not like they'd be sacrificing a s CB spot for Wade/Corker.
Also, any insight into how things got this way? Gibbs seemed all Vol with Nigel on board. I get that Smart has the new car smell...is it really the much older cousin?
