It appears based on your comments that recent negative articles (mainly on TOS) and the surrounding negative cloud that follows this program is hurting recruiting...Nixon and Akers specifically.
I will start my question with the caveat that at the end of the day, this team and coaches bear responsibility for winning. Beat USCjr and Vandy and we aren't having this conversation. But regardless, support your team despite small setbacks as we improve yearly out of the dumpster fire we were 7-8 years ago and that helps recruiting that ultimately leads to more wins on the field.
How much responsibility should your site and others take for allowing this negativity to constantly fester and hurt the program? No doubt recent fault lies mainly with TOS. But I don't think anyone would dispute that your site (not you) outranks others by a landslide when it comes to negativity. Even when we were winning games this year (5-0!!!), the vibe on here was negative with constant complaining. It truly is NEVER GOOD ENOUGH on here. Have you considered filtering (I know this will get a quick and harsh reaction from the exact crowd I am referencing) the extreme and irrational negativity for the good of the program. No doubt this is a business and you are here to make money, but theoretically we are all in this together for the good of UT football (or are we?).
Thanks
