Josh Malone is expected to turn pro. Butch became more aggressive with the passing game which is awesome. Malone had nearly 1,000 yards receiving, averaged 20 yards per reception, and scored 11 TD's. Those numbers should quiten the negative talk from Dabo Swinney and others that WR's like Tee Higgins can't make plays at the position. You could point to the fact that Dobbs will not be playing in college next season but neither will Clemson's starting QB. We need a big time playmaker to step in for the departing Malone, and Tee Higgins could be that guy. It isn't like Butch would have to sell him on the campus in the 11th hour. He's been at UT several times and knows the place.
Is there a chance UT could get back in the picture with Tee?
Clemson is not going to win any national championships coming up. Most people won't remember them for the same reason most don't remember the Buffalo Bills.
