Brown recluse spider help

My wife and I have been in our house since September. Here in the last 2 weeks we've killed about 7 or 8 brown recluse spiders.

We live in a 2 story house on a crawlspace. The only area we are seeing them in is upstairs in our master bedroom. Not so coincidentally there is an attic access door in one of the master closets.

Has the heat and rain caused these guys to invade our house?

Any recommendations? We got some glue traps today.
