It was reported here a couple of days ago that he was not going to go to USC jr. and said he would probably be going to Marshall as his "backup." I know when Spurrier came here he raised hell about the Admissions Office turning down recruits after he had gotten them committed. After that, the university backed off.
This one is strange story and does not pass the smell test. If he can't get into SC then he will not be able to get into UT or Oklahoma. Now, maybe he will visit us and we cannot get in at UT either. But the kid is a real talent so he can wait and get into some school like Marshall with no problem. He apparently does not want to go the JUCO route. This is the second 4 star receiver SC has lost to grades this recruiting season.
I know for a fact that a SC kid who went to UT several years ago (you would know his name) had his grades changed to make him eligible. And, Clowney was not getting in at USC with his GPA and suddenly got all A's. We know the rest of that story. I'll fish around and see what I can find.
