Back in late Sept. the geek that writes about Gata assured the faithful that Jordan Phillips would flip from Tennessee and become a Gata!!

While Jaylon Glover is under discussion as well, I believe Tennessee defensive tackle commit Jordan Phillips is the most likely flip candidate as of today.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound defensive lineman attended UF's home matchups against Florida Atlantic and Alabama and is slated to returned for Saturday's game against the Volunteers. The Gators extended an offer over the summer and have turned up the heat in recent months, with David Turner having recently attended one of his games as well.

UF hopes to sign three defensive tackles this cycle, with Phillips likely to become one of the additions. As we mentioned above, Jamari Lyons is trending heavily toward Dan Mullen's program as well. Then you obviously have Walter Nolen, who is a wildcard, Chris McClellan and Isaiah Hastings.still on the board.

A few sources recently told me it's only a matter of time before Phillips comes public with a change of heart, but we all know how recruiting can be. All I will say is I'm definitely confident in where the Gators stand today. The likes of Dan Mullen, David Turner and Kelvin Bolden are doing a great job of recruiting him.
