I loved what Butch had to say after the game minus the "You guys in the local media." I wish he would just leave that out. He is not getting any different treatment than any other coach in the SEC. Anybody who works has a customer. If you mess up, you own and say you are going to make it better. Which I really believe he has done. When you do a good job, you don't throw it in the customer's face. We all know what he wants to do and know he has the player's best interest at heart. This isn't the Big Brother program though. You get 4 million dollars to put a good product on the field. The Vol for Life program is one of the few things Dooley did for us, and we see where that got him. If Nick Saban lost to both Auburn and us two seasons in a row, he would be asked the same questions. What they did in the second half will shut up all the neigh sayers.
Maybe its a recruiting tool or a rallying thing. Gundy did something similar in a post game conference years back and it didn't seem to do much for him except make national news for the fit he threw. Not the football game they played and won.
