From the second he took the job until today, has Butch done anything to assure you he didn't have his finger firmly on the pulse of the program and his vision for the future? If you look at the volatile nature of the coaching profession and Butch's effectiveness as a leader, this couldn't have come as a shock to him. I'm sure there is a contingency plan in place for all positions whether they be coordinators, positional, graduate asst., etc. From a personal standpoint, I hope it's Azzani. I think he is a tremendous recruiter, coach and has a keen eye for detail. That being said, if it is somebody else, then I think we need to give Jones the full benefit of the doubt. He has done nothing up to this point to suggest he doesn't have the best interest of the UT football program at heart.
