I've been reading tea leaves (which I happen to think I'm very good at) and at this point I'd expect Chase Rogers to sign with someone else. Someone who claims to be his dad (I believe it) posts on TOS and has been very transparent about Chase's recruitment. He has said that they are still committed but are open to other opportunities because Tennessee will be cutting as many as 5 players to make room for some big name targets. Basically saying they're committed but have to cover their own butt by keeping things kinda open.
After that, he said that communication has decreased and he made some comments that made it sound like he had doubts of Chase signing with Tennessee. (Important to note that he doesn't sound bitter at all)
Since then, the TE from Florida committed and he said that Chase is still committed but they are wide open with recruiting. He said they are good with Tennessee taking another TE, but he is concerned about the numbers and needs Tennessee to affirm that they are safe. As of a few hours ago, they had not received that affirmation.
Therefore, I conclude that there isn't a good chance of Rogers being a Vol. Again, TIFWIW. And to everyone who will call me a thief, let me remind you that none of this information was premium content. I'm just trying to do my part in making Volquest great again.
