All year long mods and most on this board say this years class doesnt prove anything, make top 20-25 we are doing good. Heupel/staffs recruting in year 2 is what will determine how good they are and so on...
Now that an average class has happened and we missed on some people the world is falling apart.
Hey I get it, it sucks and I wanted a 10-15 class and to hit on some of these recruits, but lets not act like we did not see this coming... We all knew this was going to be a rough year for recruiting.
We had aspargus ruining in-state recruiting for 3 years, we literlaly went 3-9 last year, have a completely new staff having to build new relationships. It is what it is at this point and we have a lot coming back. Its not going to be a class that wins championships but if anybody expected that they are delusional. I do think it will be good enough to keep us above the middle tier teams though which I think some are forgetting. To start the year we just working on not finishing in the bottom 4 of the conference.
