I had this in another thread, but thought I would bring it out.
This Clemson team reminds me allot of the 99 Tennessee team(which was a loaded roster) that underachieved after being favored to win it all. We lost three games we should have won to Florida, Arkansas, and Nebraska. Being around allot of Clemson fans I can tell you they are over confident and are taking the Auburn game lightly. Think about this,
1. Auburn has no pressure like last year, they were ranked by some in the top 5 last year. This year they are not picked to do anything.
2. Auburn gets Carl Lawson and most of their defense back.
3. The quarterback play should be better.
4. Auburns Offense will score points this year because they have had time to fix the offense.
5. With a big time win Gus's hotseat will cool a little, he needs this and he knows it.
6. THE GAME IS AT 2100 at NIGHT IN AUBURN!! Are you kidding me???
Book it, it is happening and Florida State will beat them later in the season. I also think the Cardinals give them a hell of a game. They won the last 6 games of the season and their quarterback can score.
