Week one- Jones Heard County hung on to defeat S. Atlanta 22-19.
Week two - after putting up 49 points vs Ringgold, Shiflett lead Northwest Whitfield to a 54-7 win. Shiflett threw for 4 first half touchdowns.
Jones 6-2 180, runs 4.87 forty. Has a cannon or an arm.
Shiflett 6-3 188, ran a timed 4.47 forty, a 4.09 pro shuttle and a 35 in vertical at GT. Shiflett needs to improve his arm strength to compare to Jones.
He played an injury shorten season last year(collarbone) with 1600 yards and 19 td's 2 int. He runs as well as any QB I've seen. He is a high character kid like Tebow.
Big time challenge this Friday vs Dalton who easily defeated a talented Calhoun team last week.
