I need help getting rid of adware that I got infected with downloading what I thought was safe software. I've gone to the control panel to delete and I keep getting the message, "An error occurred when attempting to uninstall "Smart Saver + 15. It may already be uninstalled." It is not however, as I am still getting two or three popups every time I go to a new screen. Because of this, I keep getting infected with trojans and other viruses attached to the pop-up screens.
I went to microsoft for help and it said to download "SuperAntiAdware" and delete the adware. Well I did that and while it has helped me get rid of some other problems caused by this adware, I still get the same message as before. Can someone give me a program or info on what I need to do to get rid of the major headache I am dealing with. Thanks Bob
