Hanging out before the game today I was looking at Massey's rankings, which are essentially an average of all "legitimate" rankings. I sorted it out by conference to see what the average rank is per conference (and a few other summary stats that those with a bit of background in the stuff will get, but I'm not sure they're that important here).
TLDR - B12 is best. SEC is solid - does not have the top tier teams like other conferences do, but also doesn't have the really bad ones. Who knows how it will change going down the stretch as all the teams are only playing each other intra-conference.
