I enjoy watching the Vols Baseball on line via the UT Sports Site. I like this team, but every game reminds me of how crazy Baseball can be. The Vols have given up the fewest walks in the SEC, yet nearly lost Friday because of repeated walks and hit batters. Saturday it was repeated walks and wild pitches to give the Dawgs a win.
You see a kid throw beautiful pitches for strikes and strikeouts then mails one to the backstop with a runner on third. TWICE!!
The thing that is hard to figure out is that two of the best hitters from last year are in an extended batting slump this Spring. Playing great but cannot hit the ball safely.
