Ever since Cuonzo left UT, his recruiting has skyrocketed.
He recruited two 5 stars at Cal.
He landed the number 1 player in nation in his first week at Mizzou in Michael Porter Jr. The Rumor today is that two unsigned 5 star players, Jeremiah Tilmon & Kevin Knox will consider mizzou.
Now, the purpose of my post isn't to rehash Cuonzo Martin talk. I know that gets old.
But, it's been fascinating to me to watch Cuonzo's rise as a recruiter.
His last class at UT was below average. Larry Austin Jr, Cornish etc...
Now, he's recruited multiple 5 stars.
If he lands additional 5 star talent in the next couple weeks, that's Calipari esque.
We have to play Missouri in basketball so this does effect our Vols.
It's such an odd situation.
Gonna be interesting to watch. He really might land 2-3 5 stars in his first class at Mizzou.
