His dad played for my alma mater Kingston Yellow Jackets. He's a legend down there. In East Tn in general. I'm sure most know the story but he f'ed his knee up either at the combine or training for the combine. Was a projected top 10 pick. Also an all-american lineman for the Vols. He got a nice insurance settlement and opened up a chain of check cashing places. His son-in-law, Michael Frogg, also went to Kingston and walked on at Tennessee. Actually started the 1st few games at center the year Josh Mcneil was a freshman. Mcneil eventuality took over the starting center job after Florida game i think. Still, it was a pretty big accomplishment for a walk on to start a handful of games for the sec East champs.
