I think both men would be good representatives of UT. Having said that, one is a former coach and the other has spent all of his adult life in a UT athletic department, whether it was here or UTC. I have tried to look at every angle and one question still stands out in my mind. WOULD YOU HIRE DAVID BLACKBURN AS THE NEXT HEAD FOOTBALL COACH AT UT? That about sums up this comparison.
