Today we celebrate an empty grave! We celebrate a risen Savior! He came to give us life that we might know Eternal life after this one is over.
I pause today and think about all the ones who have lost their lives to this virus and many other causes. So many sent to eternity and their fate sealed either in His arms or cast into Hell. Unfortunately, so many choose to refuse the gift of life and not realize their sins are already paid in full. They instead choose to spend eternity seperated from the One that gave His life for them.
So many afraid that they will have to change their lives to serve Him. Sad thing is He changes yours and He made mine better than ever!!!
I was a ruthless, arrogant, prideful , self centered, self consumed, self promoting, hateful , boastful and conceded man.
I was a Recon Marine that killed without emotion, cared for nothing, lived for nothing and felt nothing.
I then became a football coach and I curse, screamed , yelled and pushed kids only to do my biding, not caring about their lives, only my results!
I wasn't the father I should have been to mine kids. Was never a daddy just a father.
Never the husband I should have been to my wife. I was only concerned with her meeting my needs not meeting hers.
I say this! To say this! My life seemed great, I was promoted quickly in the Marines, later got my degree and was successful on the football with money, wins and maybe a little fame, but nothing ever satified.
All I had to show for it was broken relationships, broken hearts and broken dreams. Nothing feeled the emptiness I suffered from, till April 25 2007 when Christ saved me and I gave my life to Him.
A sinner unworthy of His love , but a Savior willing to give it to me anyway no matter what I had done or ever would do!
My life has never been the same, it hasn't always been easy since, but it has never been empty again either!
Thank you Lord for what you did for me and what I know you can do for others!!!!
Come to Him as your are!! He is waiting and willing to forgive, love and save you for all eternity!
Jesus told Him, " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me!
