So the governor of KY ordered daycares to close starting next Monday for anyone other than healthcare workers.
Our daycare is closing completely. Two kids, $1,108 bi-weekly. We get an email today saying that even while closed they are charging full tuition. If the school closes for longer than 1 month they’ll give a one-week credit.
I’m their email they state “This is critical to ensure we are prepared to re-open in full force for you and your children.”
What business owner in their right mind thinks passing your business risk to the customers in this situation is acceptable? I’m considering saying something, but at the same time I know it’s probably not necessary because at least 75% of the other families will let the franchise owners have it.
My wife and I are fine financially, and have family who can help when needed, but plenty at the school won’t have that luxury.
