Ole Miss’ 30-day extension to release the NCAA’s notice of allegation have been up for a number of days and yet no information has been forthcoming from Oxford. The extension was granted when a member of the Ole Miss staff requested outside counsel just as the 90-day window to respond to the original notice of allegations stemming from possible rules violations by the football team, women’s basketball and track and field programs was coming to an end.

Considering the Rebels’ stance that they’ve done nothing wrong and will fully cooperate with NCAA and SEC investigators, these delay tactics seem to fly in the face of those statements.
