Amazes me that there are so called VOL fans out there who are determined to destroy what we have by their continued rhetoric bashing Butch and speculating about his departure. Been a VOL fan for nearly 60 years, lived through the Battle years and saw the suffering that brought for the next 10 seasons. Watched Fulmer get destroyed by a know nothing AD and a very vocal minority of idiot fans. Saw us sink to depths I never thought possible with the hiring of Kiffin by the know nothing AD, then continue to suffer through 3 years of Dooley.
Finally, we have a winner. Flipping the roster and bringing hope and 3 winning seasons and bowl games with the prospect of putting it all together in the next couple of seasons. Again a loud vocal minority wants him gone and may just stir up so much hogwash and crap that he says this just ain't worth it and bolts to a more sane environment for him and his family and we go again into the crapper for the next several years.
It just seems to me that their are some folks who are so miserable in their lives that nothing will help them or make them happy. A good many of them are on this board and just won't go away. Just hope Butch is resilient enough to ignore this legion of the miserable and tough it out to get Tennessee back to winning championships. If not, I have lost all hope in my old age of Tennessee winning another SEC Championship in my lifetime. God, I hope I'm wrong!
