Did they put 20 seconds back on the shot clock?

Towards the end if the game when we had a foul to give? We fouled them with 5 seconds on their clock and all of a sudden they got 20 seconds added to their shot clock?

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF IS THAT NONSENSE?

A new rule?
