For arguments sake, lets say Vols lose 2 regular season games (aTm & bama) still win the east and win the SECCG. As SEC Champs with 2 regular season losses, do they make the playoffs over potential 1 loss conference champs from the Power 5 conferences? With more and more pressure to get other P5 teams into the playoffs, that could bite the Vols. Let's say Clemson, Oklahoma, OSU & Oregon win their conferences with 1 or less losses. Are the Vols still in via strength of schedule or has that ship sailed?
