Does anyone really think CBJ is going to get it done?

I really like the changes he's made to his staff. I think he knows he's made mistakes and is really trying to change. I just really think it's too little too late. He had golden opportunities the last 2 years and simply didn't get it done.

We can rehash all the mistakes. They're well documented. Nega Vols bring them up regularly. Conversely, Pumpers continually mention how he's resurrected us from the ashes, but how hard is it, really, to win 8 games? At the end of the day, I think his mistakes are going to catch up with him, and I think he knows it.

His coach speak, which has worn thin with a lot of fans, is also catching up on the recruiting trail. We can talk mistakes, but its always about Jimmy's and Joe's more than X's and O's. Recruiting, or lack thereof, is the death nail. He simply isn't recruiting like he must.

I think 9 or 10 wins is the ceiling this year. Unfortunately, 6 or 7 is the floor. His track record has shown that he always loses one or two he shouldn't. I think this year will be no exception. Be it GT, SC, or KY, he's going to lose one or two that will end his tenure.

Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. I wonder what direction Currie will look for our next coach?
