Does it really affect how fans follow the team whether they know about every injury or nuance from day-to-day? Does it really change anything?

For that matter - does it really matter what the team "looks like" in the first two practice periods?

I love keeping up with and knowing what is going on with the team but the bottom line is all that really matters is who lines up on Saturday and how they perform that day. It really doesn't matter if they practiced or how they practiced during the week in the grand scheme of things.

I will add that I don't bet on sports so that aspect of it means nada to me. And my pride and ego aren't wrapped up in being cocky about what the team is going to do on any given Saturday. My focus is on supporting the team and the program and not yapping at the opposing fans about what the team is gonna do.
