make the offensive play calling better?
Yes I know he is the defensive coordinator not the offensive coordinator, but hear me out please. I believe that a significant amount of the conservative play calling on offense was about not making mistakes that our defense couldn't erase thus get a lead and suddenly Pat Buchanan is running our offense just trying to maintain whatever lead we had and not make a mistake hoping that the D can hold somewhat. If this D takes the step I think it can I actually believe the offensive staff will feel more free to open up and not play so risk averse.
