Does Sony Michel's injury pretty much guarantee that Eason does not start...

UGA's first couple of games?

And if that is the case, can Smart really throw him into a starting role just 13 days later (when UGA starts a pretty tough SEC stretch of @ Missouri, @ Ole Miss, us and USC)?

There is no way that Nick Chubb is a 20 carry a game guy by the first week of 2016 (if he can even go that soon, and/or suffer no setback prior). Michel is now out that first game by most every estimate out there.

So if Smart wants to start Eason against UNC, he is going to be rolling out an offense with a nobody and/or true freshman at tailback for almost all of the snaps AND a true freshman at QB. Along with a coaching staff that has never called a game together and a Head Coach who is also in his first game. And an offense that is completely new to the other nine players on the field. Plus, they will possibly be rotating QB's at the same time..

There is no way he does that, in my opinion. And in the weeks that immediately follow can you be growing into the new offense, playing some very legit teams, working the RB's back in AND still be rotating QB's?

Tell you what....that is one team that for sure can not survive one bit of adversity or a run of bad breaks on offense for at least the first half of the season. And I do not see them as having anything too special on defense. They will be solid, but not shutting people down.

There is a scenario where they have a very difficult first half of the season...
