The way I read the article is that he was giving a negative slant to UT..I mean the collective that is working with whatever 5* California QB in the ‘23 class.
But what he actually did, IMO, is give a ton of great pub to whatever collective is working with this QB. The only people that matter in this right now are recruits and donors. He basically told recruits that whatever collective is in this situation is for real, paying top money, creating real value and also getting a top QB. This will drive a ton of players to at least show interest in that school and talk with the collective.
Also as important, donors for that collective are going to see real value in contributing to that fund. Any have been skeptical, for real reasons. Many aren’t even aware of it. This lends a ton of legitimacy, which was already there but maybe not quite publicized, and should entice many alums that had not given previously to go ahead and give.
Thanks Stewart for your snide article. I mean, whatever collective you’re referring to will surely appreciate your article.
