I don't know why this had an immediate impact on me when I read it but it did. Obviously, as a diehard fan, I know these facts and have lived these facts but reading them matter-of-factly just made me sit back and think about it. Anyway, here's part of what he included in his Chalk Talk:
Tennessee enters this game at 8-3 the most wins since 2007….eight years and three head coaches ago. A chance to get to 10 wins…something that has been done only 20 times in our history.
I'm really looking forward to heading over for the game tomorrow - my two adult 'kids' and I. Another opportunity to share something we all love and support our team.
We will be doing our part. I hope we have a great Tennessee turnout to support these Seniors and the other mid-state players.
