As the final visit weekend approaches, Jeremy Pruitt and his staff will host at least two official visitors. The question is will the visit official visit list grow?
Confirmed Official visitors:
Isaac Taylor-Stuart – The five star is fresh off a visit to Alabama, but is scheduled to return to the Southeast this weekend to see the Vols. Taylor-Stuart was visited by the Tennessee staff for a final time on Monday in the home and will host Taylor-Stuart on campus this weekend. Getting a gauge on the 5-star defensive back has not been easy as Alabama, Texas A&M and Oregon are all in the mix.
Jashaun Corbin – The former Vol commitment turned FSU commitment turned Seminole decommitment is scheduled to see the Vols this weekend. Robert Gillespie made a bit of a surprise visit to see the Florida all-purpose back last week and the 6-1, 185-pound will see the Vols officially this weekend after hosting Jeremy Pruitt in-home on Monday. Corbin is down to Texas A&M, where he visited last week, TCU and Tennessee. With Anthony Grant still a possibility to flip to UNC or Virginia Tech, a second back for Jeremy Pruitt in his first class remains a direction the Vols could go depending on numbers and best available prospects on their board.
Possible official visitors:
Defensive end Malik Langham has been a prospect that Pruitt has liked since he arrived in Knoxville. The problem is that other schools have fallen in love with the now 4-star end from Huntsville, Ala. And at this point, it looks more likely that Langham will not visit Tennessee this weekend. Auburn is pushing for Langham's final visit this weekend and appear to have the inside track. Langham is also giving some thought to not visiting anywhere. Alabama is the leader for Langham.
Safety Trevon Flowers has been scheduled to visit the Vols the last two weekends, but that visit hasn't happened because Flowers has been trying to get things worked out to take football visits. Back in November, Flowers signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Kentucky. Kentucky is allowing Flowers to get out of the National Letter but there's some red tape that Flowers has had to try to work through with the SEC to take football visits. Provided he gets that done, the 3-Star DB from Tucker is thought to be a visitor this weekend.
Two other possible visitors we continue to check on are Antoine Greene and Treveon Johnson. Greene seems like a longshot to get on campus for a visit, per sources. while Johnson's recruitment is interesting.
Johnson is a wide receiver from Brenham, Texas. He committed to Oklahoma back in June, but decommitted last week and visited Arkansas. He has said he's likely going to visit this weekend, but nothing is confirmed at this point as to what his weekend plans will be.
Unofficial visitors:
Unofficial visitors are always subject to last minute decisions, but as of now, Tennessee is scheduled to have a handful of 2019 prospects on campus on Saturday.
In-state prospects, Joseph Anderson, Tymon Mitchell and Woodi Washington. The talented mid-state trio are making return trips to campus, but their first trips to see Pruitt and the new staff. Washington's stock continues to climb and he seems to be an early priority for the new staff. Anderson and Mitchell are both big bodies who continue to see their offer list grow.
From North Carolina, quarterback Sam Howell is scheduled to be in town. Howell has a Vol offer and the four star signalcaller is ranked inside the Rivals250 and is the 5th ranked pro-style quarterback nationally. The 6-1, 205-pound quarterback also has offers from Clemson, and Duke among his 20+ scholarship opportunities.
