Last year the schedule was really set up for Tennessee, where I felt like you could win the East even without being the best team. This year it's going to be much tougher. I could see a 10-2 season not being enough for Atlanta.
6-2 in the league is unlikely to be good enough without wins over Florida and Georgia. The winner of the FL/UGA game is probably going to be 6-2 at the end as well, and you're going to need the tie break. If UT loses to one of them, you will have to hope that team doesn't win in Jacksonville.
I think based on this comparison, Georgia looks really dangerous if they turn out to be any good. If they go into Oxford and win, that hurts.
