I hate it when a coach, player, or fan blames the refs for a loss. I'm not that guy at all. But the situation with SEC basketball referees must be addressed, for the good of the league.
SEC Basketball Referees are awful. It's always pretty bad in the SEC, but last night was just horrible. I
don't think they were against UT. They just unnecessarily take
control of the game and completely disrupt the flow of play by calling
odd-ball fouls and calling attention to themselves.
Extremely
unprofessional, very poor, incompetent referees. High school level
grandstanding and interactions with the coaches and players.
Embarrassing to our league. They must work cheap or have a union are the
only reasons I can think of to keep them around.
