For those fortunate enough to have kids, what's the moment where you realized being a parent has some pretty good perks?......Ill start.
I've got two boys and when my oldest was about 2 1/2 my wife took him to Seattle for about 10 days to visit some family (funny side note. We had told my boy he was going on a trip to Seattle and for several weeks he told anyone that would listen he was going to See someone named Addle )
Had never been away from him more than a day or two at a time at that point and couldn't wait to pick them up at the airport when they got back. So I'm in the waiting area (back in the days where it was still at the terminal) towards the back and I see them walk through the door. My boy catches a glimpse of me and does a full out sprint , jumps up in my arms and proceeds to do a death hold around my neck until we get back to the car. Wouldn't leave my side for several days after.
A cool memory for me.
