okay before I start let me just say that Florida's defense is going to be good this year, but seeing all these threads and media saying it's going to be better than last year defense or one of the best in SEC is not accurate.
First Florida lost its best player on defensive line and arguably best player on defense. Some might argue Vernon and rightfully so. Also everyone says Will Muschamp is the best defensive coordinator and play caller in all of football and they do not have him anymore.
So you can't convince me that this defense is going to be a normal Florida defense; because they lost Will Muschamp. I don't care how much talent you got on defense play calling and scheme is a giant part of success. So if they lost the best scheme and play caller in football then don't you think you will see a noticeable difference in performance this year?
This defense won't be and shouldn't be better than last year. If this defense performs the same or better than last year then that just tells you maybe Will Muschamp is overrated as a defensive coordinator. Which I don't believe that because he has had a top defense every where he's been.
Also last year gator defense isn't even the best defense that Muschamp had at Florida. So all in all I think we should beat Florida and they don't have a defense that will cause us to score only 10 points. Like I said it will be a good defense but not elite like everyone thinks just because they have talent.
