Been in the Brevard NC area this week. Fished my normal spots (East & North Fork of French Broad, Davidson & Looking Glass Creek) and my guide took me to two new spots (a private section of the Horse Pasture river and public section of the West Fork of the Pigeon River). I was blown away with the Pigeon yesterday. Caught 16 in four hours. Good size Brookies with some stocked rainbows as well. I will return!
Also loved the music lineup at the Brevard White Squirrel Festival last weekend and attending the Blues festival tonight. Love this week up here. Good food, good music, good fishing, lovely scenery.
