Currie news is interesting but I'd rather look forward than backwards.

So from what I've read we are looking people assuming our floor is 4 wins and ceiling 8. I think most would agree neither of these outcomes are likely.

Looking at the schedule we have 3 non conference games we should win and one that we will likely be the underdog.

We have the gauntlet of games starting with FL and ending with SC and then a next 4 game stretch of winnable games to close the season.

Gaytors are not in a much better position than us. Disaster of a season last year and beat a Butch Jones coached team by luck in the swamp.

GA with the departure of over 30 players will take a step back. Still in much better shape than we are and hell of a class coming in but they won't make the same run they had last year.

Alabama and Auburn are both fully stocked but Auburn has a pattern of under preforming mid season and losing a game they shouldn't ( last years Texas A&M game).

SC is away and they have a QB that has had our number but they beat us while we were beating our self last year.

KY, Mizzou and Candy are all winnable IMO.

6-6 regular season is quite reasonable

My way too early prediction

WV - L
ETSU - W
UTEP - W
Gaytors - W
GA - L
AU - L
Bama - L
SC - W
Charlotte -W
Kensucky - W
Mizzou - W
Candy - W

7- 5 regular season with a signature first season win against FL. End the season with 5 wins and pushes recruiting for 2018 into a top 5 class.

Optimistic - Yes but think we are a defensive lead team and we don't have a major set back in injuries.

Keys to getting 7 wins:
CB stepping up and preforming
Getting Trey Smith back on OL and limiting injuries on OL
Tuttle staying healthy.
