I am a huge, huge fan of this site and the people that run it and the people in the community. Not moving to On3 was not an option. We are going to commit considerable resources to assist Brent and Austin -- not get in their way.
I'm a huge fan of Tennessee football. I was supposed to have dinner with Coach Heupel and Grant a couple of days before fall practice started but our family had a personal situation come up that morning and I had to stay in Nashville. I'll get over to see him after the season and definitely make a game or two.
This place is special and we are going to do our part to give Brent what he needs to make it even better. To say I am excited to be here is an extreme understatement.
One last thing ... I ran Rivals for 10 years. I ran 247 for 10 years. I learned a lot and we did many great things. Made our mistakes along the way. After 28 years in this industry. On3 will be our masterpiece -- all about quality and service. I kind of got lost along the way and my ego got to the best of me. I'm a farm boy from Woodville, Alabama, and know my roots. I want to do this one right.
