When I used to watch back in the 90's it did always bother me but I hated Jordan and the Bulls enough I tuned in to see if they would ever lose. Now that I don't care enough to hate or love a team when I do watch it just seems outrageous the calls that are overlooked or called to make the stars are the ones front and center.
Kind of like Adrian Peterson wouldn't be called down after being tackled and allowed to get up and run because the NFL wanted to focus on him as a star.
Also, how does one become an NBA ref? Do you have to take a test and say "that's a walk in any other level of basketball but I wouldn't call it if LeBron, Durant or Curry had the ball"
