Take this in the spirit it is intended. I am guilty of spouting off about this stuff as well, but I wonder how accurate our perception of the deadliness of COVID-19 is?
For two helpful data points, the CDC has a typical flu season at .1% mortality rate, and the very early projections we saw were that COVID-19 could have a mortality rate of 4.5%.
In the next 2-3 months we will have a really good idea of the actual mortality rate. It should be interesting to see how well we do as a group.
