had meetings in Louisville and Lexington this week and decided to go up early and tour 2-3 distilleries, and was not disappointed. Went to Willett, Heaven Hill and took a detour to Frankfort on Tuesday afternoon to Buffalo Trace. If you've never done the bourbon trail, I would highly recommend at least going to a distillary or two. Educational and you get to sample 2-3 different bourbons. Came home with a bottle of Willett 3 year rye, Elijah Craig 12 yr Barrel Proof, and Buffalo Traces Wheatly vodka for my wife, which has been distilled 10 times.. Productive week all around...
