That the red team pays their strength coach MORE than we pay ANY coach not named Butch makes my freaking blood boil..
All the fans in the Tennessee world want Tennessee to be good and compete, but seem ok with their leaders skimping, all the while requiring the most money per ticket and the most money per season tix of anybody in the league.. Truly mind bottling how pitiful it really is..
Here's the facts. Until the powers that be decide the football team is worth spending the required money to keep up, they will continues to be meaty okra... Y'all continue to bury your heads in the sand about your beloved AD, but he isn't even giving your coaching staff a fighting chance..
Also, please get on here and tell me how I'm stupid, how I don't know, how I'm negative, etc.. Know this.. Most know me as a sunshine pumper, and I think I probably am less objective when it comes to the vols than most because my heart gets involved but damn, this realization struck me hard and made me furious about how hard our coaches and players work. Our admin hand cuffs Butch and won't allow him to upgrade his staff to stay current with the leaders in this league yet they expect him to compete.. I'm changing my stance on butch's buyout. I thought it was insane we would somehow agree to a contract that could pay him a 10 million dollar sum if he fails, but now I think it is FAR TOO LOW.. Working for these clowns would require a buyout at least double the one Butch accepted if I took the job.. You know you are basically having your legs cut out from beneath you by your own damn boss..
