I had to go to the mall with my wife Sat, I know, I know. I never miss a game when my Vols are on but it was her bday weekend. No where at Hamilton Place was a TV. My wife sent me in a sports store to look for my brother in law something for his bday.
i heard the game on but I didn't see it. They had a very small TV that I found. There was a few Vols like me that were in there.
We had just taken the lead but had gone 3 and out. In walks a Bama fan wearing all his crap. I heard him tell his wife I want to see Tn lose. As soon as he walks over to the TV, Eason throws the TD. He very quietly starts clapping and saying yes, yes, yes and he and his wife hug. I was wanting to smack him. Then he said, let's watch the last few seconds. Of course, you know what happens next! We win and all of us Vol fans starts screaming and jumping and the look on his face was priceless. My 11 year old looks at him and ask him if he's scared now?!!!! The guy looks at him and says, yes I'm scared to death that we're going to lose to TN this year. He turns around and bolts out of that place and leaves his wife standing there.
She finally realizes he's gone! I almost ask her if she wanted to trade that monkey in for a real man but she wasn't very attractive.
I was super proud of my son though. He's been very cocky the last couple of weeks! He just witnessed our first win over the Gators in his lifetime.
