SEC has just said it will not operate independently of other P5 conferences.
Major player in P5 has said no fans.
Agree with my brother who said he does not see how a limited number on fans would ever work in a football stadium environment (people aren't going to adhere to distancing and filing in and out orderly.....and how do you keep people distanced at concessions and bathrooms and gates during entrance and exit?)....so it will be all or none with fans attending games
So....I see them playing football (maybe with a modified schedule of some kind)...and no fans. That way the games get played. Players can't leave schools because of no season. Schools still get TV money as there WOULD be games and they would be EXTREMELY popular on TV.
Schools would lose gate and concessions but still receive TV $.....so not a total loss (expenses would be much less with no fans as there would be very little security and traffic control needed....nor very few stadium staff)
