I didn't realize that Willie Gault was the driving force behind the Super Bowl Shuffle video.
He'd booked the studio for the Tuesday after their late season Monday Night Football game, vs. the Dolphins. They lost that game. First loss of the season. But Willie had made all of the studio and crew arrangements.
The entire time wasn't down for it (even before the Miami loss). McMIchael, in particular was very much against it.
I thought it was interesting to learn that Gault was the brainchild behind this iconic piece of (awful) music history.
