Golf in Arizona

Flying out to Phoenix tomorrow for a week of golf. We are staying at some golf resort in Mesa. Any recommendations on other places to play around the Phoenix area?

For the "google it" crowd... Im looking for answers from personal experience. I did google places to eat though.
