A few of us have done this on here for fun. Pretty fun article to read if you're a fan, but the misspelling of "the Night King" as "the Knight King," is inexcusable. Lost all respect for the author. Fake fan.

Also, casting Swamp Donkey as Jon Snow is ridiculous. That makes no sense. And Kirby as Dany!? The cluck!?!?!?

Here's the text for you lazies:

WARNING: Spoilers Below!

I know, how could I make a list like this without using Tyrion Lannister?...The truth is I just couldn't find a good angle I liked. I thought about making him Vanderbilt, but he is too big of a central player to be Derek Mason. He can't be Alabama because he really isn't there competing for a championship, only offering guidance...Maybe he's SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey? Would that make Coordinator of Officials Steve Shaw Varys?

Don't take this too seriously, just enjoy it and have some fun with it...and then be sure to discuss it on The Razor's Edge...

Cersei Lannister, cold and unforgiving, sits on the Iron Throne...

WESTERN DIVISION
Cersei Lannister – Alabama, Nick Saban

She rules Westeros...or the SEC, rather...and that has been the case for some time. She never smiles and shows little personality...all business all the time. The Lannisters are rich, ruthless and intelligent. They have a formula for success and it has worked for generations. Everyone is coming after them but so far nobody has taken them down…

The Knight King – Auburn, Gus Malzahn

He doesn’t say a whole lot…Historically, they have not played by the same rules as

everyone else, either. He has a lot of power and is capable of destroying everyone in his path…Everybody knows how to beat him, but few have access to dragon glass...

The Mountain – LSU, Ed Orgeron

Immense power but lately there isn’t much to show for it. Nobody wants to get into a fight with this guy, but at the end of the day is he competing for a title or is he just there to brawl?...

Sansa Stark – Arkansas, Bret Bielema

Started off happy before the game began, got a quick dose of reality and some serious hardship..basically watched everything she loved get destroyed. After escaping and gaining some peace, found even more despair. Has grown over the years, and we really don’t really know what to expect now…

Euron Greyjoy – TAMU, Kevin Sumlin

Much like the Iron Islands, College Station is off to the side and isn’t a pretty place. This guy has a lot of power and a tremendous fleet, but they kind of do their own thing over there. He's a wildcard. Things are good right now in the first half of Season 7...or Season 6 in Sumlin's case, but by the end of it things will likely have taken a downward turn…

Arya Stark – Mississippi Statej, Dan Mullen

Like Arya, MSU and Nick Fitzgerald are capable of sneaking into your stadium and catching you off guard…just like Arya is capable of sneaking into your castle and slitting your throat when you least expect it. The same things happened in 2014 with Dak Prescott. But is Arya competing for a championship or just out to kill?

Petyr Baelish – Ole Miss, Hugh Freeze

This guy is dirty, everyone knows it, but he has yet to pay the price. He has had his wins in battle – always through deception - but right now he is starting to get shunned. There is so much more about Freeze that we don’t know yet but is sure to be uncovered by the end of the season...

Is Daenerys Targaryen the heir apparent to the Iron Throne?

EASTERN DIVISION
Daenerys Targaryen – Georgia, Kirby Smart

It has been a long time coming, but Georgia is the media’s pick to win the Eastern Division, and many seem to think Dany could be the future Queen of Westeros. She has finally landed in Westeros with much anticipation. UGA and Daenerys are pretty with a lot of firepower. It could be her time to take over, but it sure is a long time coming…

Jon Snow – Florida, Jim McElwain

King of the North….or rather the Eastern Division. The past couple of years, Florida has been a bit of a surprise making it to the SEC Championship game, just like Snow has surprised us each and every season.

The Hound – Tennessee, Butch Jones

Can definitely take people down and is battle tested. Not really competing for a championship, but not someone to tangle with, either…Not big on personality, and he acts exactly like one would think he would act based on his appearance…

Samwell Tarly – Kentucky, Mark Stoops

Has shown a lot of growth over the years, though still a bit soft. Isn’t scaring anyone, but when it is least expected he surprises everyone. Like Tarly discovered the power of dragon glass, Stoops uncovered the value of recruiting Ohio.

Yara Greyjoy – South Carolina, Will Muschamp

Definitely not the ruler of the Iron Islands as she was ousted by Clemson...or Euron, rather. Just wants to do her thing in her plot of land and now has to fight for it. In the second season of fighting for what she believes is hers, though she never really had it in the first place. Very intense but somehow funny at the same time.

Brienne of Tarth – Vanderbilt, Derek Mason

She is big on character, loyal to a fault and has been through the battles. Highly respected by the viewers, but she garners little respect from her opponents. Unless something changes dramatically, she is only there to serve and not to rule

Theon Greyjoy – Missouri, Barry Odom

Came into the show excited and even a little cocky. Enjoyed some success early and then was broken like no other and became Reek. May be out of his league, though now he is finally starting to show a little dignity. Definitely not concerned with winning championships at this point, though that was once all he thought about...

Key Characters Who Weren’t Used

Tyrion Lannister (unless you count him as Sankey)

Varys (unless you count him as Shaw)

Jaime Lannister

Jorah Mormont

Bran Stark
