I’m sure they don’t know a damn thing that we don’t already know. The NCAA literally initiates a conversation with LSU, and we jump. Classic overreactors to everything, and right now, they are making yet another rash and program-damaging decision.
Will Wade will be cleared and remain our coach next season based on a total lack of direct evidence, but our season will be lost due to the gross incompetency of the LSU administration.

It’s a media get out in front of the noise play. So weak admin wise. It’s about to be tournament time and recruiting. Just come out and say we’re going to conduct an internal investigation. It gives one 30-45 days to finish the season and recruiting. Then if you choose to suspend or fire do so. This is obviously a reaction to the article from yahoo. Alleva is a joke. It’s totally incompetent for the brand to do it now. We’re suspending to do the investigation. If this was business it would be like suspending the CEO based on media before investigating and causing ones stock to dive. I am so dumbfounded at how bad Alleva is. Duke lacrosse he totally blew it, gets out in front on Miles which caused leeks, the Orgeron hiring. I am for Orgeron being our coach but he had all season to conduct a search with agents and the week of the A&M game handles it like it’s his first hire.... SMH

So why haven't they also suspended Smart? Why stop here. The same anonymous sources suggest that Smart accepted the "offer". That would make him an ineligible player. In fact, let's call it a season and not play anymore until Yahoo sports gives us the okay.
