Long post. Sorry, but for good cause.
There are a lot of folks that talk about helping others, but here’s a way to do that today for absolutely nothing but your time.
When Covid hit, it impacted our family in a big way since I had recently sold my business to help my wife start hers. I wanted to be able to give back in action, but the idea of making some extra money was appealing too. I decided to donate plasma, among other things.
Here’s some huge information for those of your looking to give back in the fight against Covid, but also get some neat perks.
First, plasma centers across the country are seeking donors who had Covid because their plasma has produced antibodies; and as the article says, your plasma may help others fight the virus. https://www.fda.gov/emergency-prepa...-disease-2019-covid-19/donate-covid-19-plasma
I get an average of 45.00 per plasma donation (I give up to twice a week), and where I donate in Chattanooga, they are paying 100 per donation for persons who were confirmed to have recovered from COVID.
There’s more. For the next 3 months, our center (and others from what I’ve been told) are you freeing free flu shots and Covid antibody tests. You have to donate(I believe) 5 times, but you have multiple months to do so.
So, just an idea for anyone interested. If you’re giving thought to donating, I have a referral code that can give you incentives if you’re have a CSL center in your area.
